I just played this game, it was super interesting! I liked the story, the ending was very poetic, and I liked how simple the mechanics were. Like other people said, I had trouble finding the code at first, but with the hints in the comments I was able get it, that was the only thing I had trouble with.
This was great! Well written and laid out simply enough to get your head around once you go through everything a few times. Good work!
[SPOILERS]
I also got stuck with the code, and even with the hints I still couldn't get it. I knew the planet was at 2914 and they had been travelling for 28(?) days since they left that planet, but I assume I need to figure out the location of Earth, and I can't find the clues to do that. I'm probably just missing something or didn't reread something properly. Since so many people got stuck, maybe it's worth adding an extra clue or tweaking the puzzle a bit. Up to you, of course! No idea if the other guesses I made were correct because obviously you can't see until you submit them all, which is probably pretty standard but tough when there's just one thing you can't figure out. Honestly great work though even with that frustration!
Thank you for the feedback! Yeah more people had trouble with it than expected. SPOILERS incoming: a message mentions birthdays being a common password yet stresses that space is more important than time, and that where things happen is more important than when. That person is the same person whose computer you are trying to log into. Which means you must calculate on the map “where” the ship was when the entity was born in order to find the 4 digit code. I suppose a bit too complex considering all the comments mentioning being stuck! I appreciate you checking it out though!!!
SPOILERS! Hmm so I think what I was missing was it being about the entity's DOB. I was looking for birthdays of the crew and then looking for the time they left Earth, things like that. I'll try it again at some point to see if I can continue with it. Thanks!
this was fun but i really cant figure out the code. i know it has to do with the map and i tried all the number combinations i could think of. still nothing :(
MILD SPOILERS: The map shows an XY axis that would lead each coordinate to be 4 digits. You should ask yourself who is the user for the computer you are trying to log into, and what has that person said about passwords. (EXTRA HINT: Knowing the date of birth is cool and all, but what about the place of birth?)

I loved it! My only gripe is my own stupidity not gonna lie, especially in regards to a certain number, turns out all I had to do was flip it around! A bunch of my time playing was wondering why it didn't work, being frustrated then being happy it worked though I had to brute force it. Maybe if it worked with the numbers being flipped it would be ok.
Otherwise the way it all led to the end was really great!
Loved it! Full review on the jam page, but this is exactly the kind of game I love to play and I think it's hilarious that you and I interpreted the theme so similarly.
This absolutely rocks- such a well done, well paced little mystery game. Your writing is great, the layout is great, the way information is revealed is super succinct without being too challenging, and your ending beat was gorgeous. Hoping to see this succeed in the game jam, and excited to see what you make next!

What a nice mixture of mystery, puzzles and the element of surprise in the end... I absolutely love it!
I believe that there are enough clues left and was able to figure out code on my own.

I can't for the life of me figure out that damned code, otherwise, great game!

Thank you for the feedback! Glad you found the story compelling. Unfortunately I removed the comment due to containing major spoilers!
Very nicely done!
